Updates
Done
20-06-2016
The research has been finished! In the upcoming weeks the team will present the results to the responsible people of the STL. You can read more about the results in the IRSP magazine that will be published on this website soon!
Final Weeks
25-04-2016
Currently, the researchers for the Special Tribunal for Lebanon are very busy with the research as the deadline is near! Currently, the first chapters have been finished and the work has begun on the final parts of the research. While there is certainly a lot of work left, the researchers are progressing very well, while still being busy with their (thesis) deadlines and other work. The research is very much on its way to become a very professional and academic research, and we cannot wait to see the outcome in a couple of weeks!
Media Analysis
12-04-2016
The Researchers for the Special Tribunal for Lebanon are currently very busy analyzing the various social media the Special Tribunal for Lebanon uses, such as Facebook and Twitter. Furthermore, they are still delving further into in the world of communication and are learning a lot about the world of communication and social media. Together with the people of STL, they are well on their way to publish a thorough research! A new research day is coming up soon, so a new update won’t be long!
Latest Developments
28-02-2016
The research about the Special Tribunal for Lebanon has now really started! The researchers have met with the representatives of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon in Leidschendam to talk about the aim and goal of the research. The visit was very pleasant and informative. The representatives from STL provided the researchers with lots of information about their targets and cleared a lot of questions. Together with the guiding professor, Dr. Lamont, they have put together a thorough research plan about the communications of the Special Tribunal of Lebanon and several other international courts.
The four cheerful researchers are currently starting to do the research and are busy reading relevant literature, following up on current events and attending workshops. Apart from the weekly meetings, plans for dinner have already been made! I’m looking forward to a successful, productive and above all awesome semester. We’ll keep you updated about the research!
