is passionate about doing research because: it is very nice that  researchers have to be a bit like a detective to get information on the table. On top of that, it is a varied job which brings him in contact with many different people and prepares Dirk for his working life later.

considers: the Liberation Day in Tiraspol, the capital of non-recognized state Trans-Nistria, as the craziest event he has ever been to.

is: like a well-aged bottle of Chardonnay - fun, full and vibrant that can be paired with many different things.

loves: clearly, drinking wine, travelling to wine regions and going on wine tours. Apart from that he likes going on picnics, cooking, playing sports, (hockey and swimming) history and discovering the world.
