The Hague Research Institute
The Hague Research Institute is an independent non-profit think-tank. Their goal is to provide both local and international audiences with clear policy analysis, opinion articles, and research about Europe’s connections with the South Caucasus and Central Asia. They focus on political, economic, security, and energy relationships.
In alignment with these broader goals, our research partnership will center on Azerbaijan's energy transition, specifically focusing on the sectors of energy, renewable energy, environment, and transportation. We’re going to do a multiple stage research, meaning that three students will divide the area of focus, then will work on it individually but it is expected that they have a good knowledge of the whole topic since the answers of the other two will be checked by each other and thus provide feedback for each other.
The supervision will be undertaken by the professor of IR in our university Agha Bayramov who is also the founder of Hague Research Institute.
